I purchase ties from all over the United
States and sometimes from Europe on occasion. Always on the lookout for the slightly unusal, always stunning vintage
ties that I can find.
Each vintage tie that arrives
is inspected for any rips, stains, holes or snags. If
any stains are present, I personally hand wash each tie separately in a mild soapy solution, then I hand press or either steam
them before they are presented.
However, I do suggest with ANY vintage
item that you purchase:
PLEASE DRY
CLEAN ALL ITEMS.
Sometimes, hand washing just doesn't
do the trick 100% of the time in getting out the stubborn stains and odors.
